Flow valves

The flow valve programme encompasses practically all of the functions for influencing the flow rate which are required in hydraulics. Flow valves influence the flow rate in a system by means of mechanical or hydraulic modification of throttle cross-sections. HYDAC offers both manually and hydraulically controlled valves in this area.

Needle valves

HYDAC needle valves are manually actuated flow valves for influencing a flow rate by means of an adjustable cross-section using a throttle spindle. The flow rate is dependent on differential pressure and viscosity. A turning knob with scale ring allows a sensitive reproducibility of the set values. Various installation sizes enable an optimal system adjustment.

Needle valves hydraulically actuated

HYDAC needle valves with hydraulic actuation are direct acting valves with initially fully open position which move into throttle position when charged by hydraulic stress.

Needle valves with reverse flow check

HYDAC needle valves with reverse flow check are equipped with throttle spindle and turning knob for influencing the flow rate by means of an adjustable cross-section in one direction. There is free flow in the opposite direction. Fine adjustment of the flow rate by means of specially formed throttle spindles; e.g. for the velocity control of loaded consumers.
